Understand and follow the guidelines for maintaining safety at each range effectively.
Archery Rules
General Range Rules
When a "cease-fire" is declared, stop shooting immediately and keep your gun pointed in a safe direction and await further instructions.
Operation of any firearm in fully-automatic (or any device/modification that emulates full-auto) is strictly prohibited on any range.
Uncontrolled/Reckless rates of fire are also prohibited.
When not shooting, the actions of all firearms must be kept open, with magazine removed and a visible empty chamber indicator is inserted into the chamber.
No tracer rounds, explosive targets, or 50 BMG permitted.
All members & guests must sign-in prior to shooting.
Scheduled range events/matches and range maintenance have priority over unscheduled shooting exercises.
Range courtesy & etiquette towards others are expected of every member and guest.
When anyone requests the firing line to be "clear", no one may go down range until all actions of each firearm have been unloaded, magazines, removed, safeties engaged and slides/bolts pulled back.
No person under the age of 18 shall operate a firearm without the supervision of an adult member experienced with safe gun handling.
It is your responsibility to clean-up your area after shooting. Place discarded targets and cartridges/shells into their respective receptacles.
This archery range is to be used exclusively for archery & crossbows.
Shoot on the lane designated for each target.
No angled shots.
Broadheads may only be shot at the pit located at target #4.
Repair each 3D target after shooting.
No bicycles or motorized vehicles allowed.
No person may alter the range such as changing targets/stakes.
All shooters looking for lost arrows must stand bow upright.
Stay on the trails and shoot the course in numerical order.
Watch for other shooters.
Rule #1: Treat every firearm as if it is loaded.
Rule #2: Always point your muzzle in a safe direction.
Rule #3: Be certain of your target and what's behind it.
Rule #4: Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire.

Lake Rules
A maximum of 6 guests are permitted and each guest must have a completed guest pass in their possession.
The lake property is open 30min before sunrise and closed 30min after sunset.
Dog training is allowed 30min before sunrise until 9:30am. Owners must pick up after their dogs.
No motorized boats are permitted on the property.
All members shall remove their own trash & dispose of in receptacles.
The use of archery equipment, firearms, or spears is prohibited on the lake property.
Alcoholic beverages & controlled substances are strictly prohibited on club premises.
Only charcoal may be used on the supplied grills.
No camp fires.
No fishing from the beach area to safeguard swimmers from lost hooks, etc.
Shotgun management and/or range officer has jurisdiction over all shooting matters on these ranges and can refuse any shooter or firearm.
All firearms are to be kept unloaded except when on a shooting station.
All actions are to be open at all times unless on a shooting station or if the shotgun is of the type that requires it to be closed in order to stand up in the rack.
Do no close the action of your gun until it is your turn to shoot and you are fully in or on a shooting station.
Do not move from a shooting station with a shell in your gun.
Single-load only on trap except when shooting doubles.
Maximum of 2 shells to be loaded on skeet at ay time. Only 1 shell at a time on station #8.
Only shoulder-mounted shotguns of 12, 16, 20, 28 or .410 gauge may be used on these ranges.
Only target loads of shot sizes 7-1/2 through 9 may be used. No magnum shot shell ammunition.
Slugs may not be used at any time.
Shotgun patterning should only be performed at the designated area of the utility range.
Spectators are to stay behind the safety fence.
Hand traps may be used whenever organized shooting is not in progress and may be thrown on the trap field only.
John Grogan Range Rules
Rifle Range Rules
No handgun shooting is permitted on the rifle range other than during a scheduled handgun event; shotguns are allowed on the rifle range only to fire slugs.
Only paper and/or laminated weather-resistant targets may be used and must be attached to the target backstops, never on the ground. Placing any type of target on the ground is not permitted.
No crossfire shooting allowed; shoot at targets directly in front of you. If space permits, you may setup an additional target on another stand to the left or right of your primary target.
When charging your firearm and chambering a round - be certain that the muzzle is pointed downrange in the direction of your target and not elevated at an angle above/below the horizon.
When anyone requests that the firing line be made "clear", no one may go downrange until the actions of all firearms have been unlocked, magazines removed, safeties engaged, slide/bolts pulled back, with a visible ECI inserted into the chamber. Only then is the range considered "clear".
Permission from all shooters on the firing line is required before any shooter may go down range. When going downrange, the red range flag must be taken and installed to ensure that everyone on the firing line is aware that shooters are downrange.
While shooters are downrange, no one may handle their firearm in any manner. Adults who are supervising children must ensure that they do no handle firearms while others are downrange.
Magazines may not be loaded with more than 10 rounds.
Access to the gravel / prone area is limited to members that have passed the qualification and have been issued a yellow "rifle qualified" card.
No shooting permitted forward of benches which form the line.
No Holster-Draw allowed.
Only paper and/or laminated weather-resistant targets shall be placed on cardboard target backers supplied in white boxes on the range, then placed on the 25 or 50 yard wooden frames.
When not shooting, the actions of all firearms must be kept open, with magazine removed and a visible chamber indicator inserted into the chamber.
Any rimfire or straight-walled cartridge, as well as a handgun, may be used on this range. No shotgun slugs allowed.
No crossfire shooting allowed; shoot at targets directly in front of you. If space permits, you may setup an additional target on another stand to the left or right of your primary target.
When charging your firearm and chambering a round, be sure to point your muzzle downrange in the direction of your target and not above/below the horizon.
Magazines must not be loaded past 10 rounds.
Electronic Alarm System
A) Anyone on the range shall turn the pole-mounted switch to position "0" (no-shoot) - this disables the alarm system while downrange.
B) When everyone has returned from downrange and is situated safely behind the firing line, the pole-mounted switch shall be turned to position "1" (shoot) - This enables the alarm system.
Plinking Range Rules
Utility Range Rules
Shooters will establish one consensual firing line.
Only paper and/or laminated weather-resistant targets may be used on the utility range. All targets must be attached to the cardboard backer supplied in the orange box on range and placed in frames.
Only holsters worn on the hip that fully support, retain, and cover the trigger of the gun may be worn.
You may draw from a holster that is worn on the same side from which you intend to draw from.
No hip fire or otherwise shooting in an un-aimed position/uncontrolled manner.
When not shooting, the action of the firearm should be kept open and a visible empty chamber indicator must be inserted into the chamber.
Any rimfire or straight-walled cartridge, shotgun target loads (no slugs), and handguns may be used.
Shotguns may only be used in the designated shotgun area.
No crossfire allowed. If space permitting, you may setup an additional target to the left or right of your primary target.
Magazines may not be loaded with more than 10 rounds.
No shooting permitted forward of the benches which form the firing line.
No holster draw allowed.
Do not hang targets on or shoot at the ricochet barrier.
All targets should be placed between the base of the dirt backstop and no higher than the marks on the side-poles.
In order to minimize risk of ricochets, no bowling pings, steel, glass, concrete or other hardened targets allowed.
When not shooting, the action of the firearm should be kept open and a visible empty chamber indicator must be inserted into the chamber.
Magazines may be loaded to capacity on the plinking range.
Any rimfire or straight-walled cartridge, shotgun target loads (no slugs), and handguns may be used.
No crossfire allowed. If space permitting, you may setup an additional target to the left or right of your primary target.
Keep your muzzle pointed downrange while charging your firearm.
